1	0245	Rec from 2/14 Cas Rept Non-Battle Hayford E. Hill, RA14579496, SSGT E6  HHC/2/14 Fractured disc in back while on ptl in Ann Margaret area.  XT 664173 at 0105 hrs.
2	1055	Rec from 2/14 Cas Rept  Non-Battle John McGowan, RA56328118, SGT E5  HHC/2/14 Gun shot wound lateral right leg while on ptl, placing 45 pistol in holster accidently shot himself.  XT665181 at 0630 hrs

9	0650	2/14 rpts while on patrol Sgt Hill fell in deep trench.  Paralized from waist down.  Has possible back fracture.  Evacuated to Saigon.
10	0659	2/14 rpts patrol member from recon plat shot himself accidentally and requested helicopter.
