Following report sent to Bde as requested:  At approximately 2245 hours, bunkers on bridge received what was believed to be a direct hit by 1 or more rifle grenades.  Results 1 KIA, 3WIA.  Present status of friendly Claymore is undetermined.  Bde. 23 did not want names of KIA & WIA's

Following hand written report sent to Bde 23 was as requested:  item #5 at approx. 2105, 1 mortar round fell on C Co. CP bunker.  Results 1 KIA & 1 WIA.  Lt. Heide Arty Liason indicates round was from C Co. 81mm mortars.  From all indications ammunition was faulty.  Lt. Heide checked data on guns and FO's, all was correct

Summary
On this day the S-4 Section received 3ea Bunker Kits, which were issued to C Company.  Also on this day 6ea Starlight Device were issued to the Line Companies and 2ea to the Recon Plt.
