2	0055	DL 5 call for ambulance. They were hit by a Claymore, 1 seriously, 1 slightly. WIA It was a VC Claymore loc at Laterite pit
3	0105	Sitrep Neg contact DL 6 departing for laterite pit
4	0115	DL 6 request permission to search village, permission denied by DL 5
5	0118	DL 5 reports 1 KIA at Laterite pit KIA Sundet WIA Higgins WIA walking head wound. Position of claymore back side of hill possion No 3 671052
35	0720	Landslide 33 requested permission to test fire 50 Cal at A/M, checked with Bde, OK
36	0805	A Co notified to send one patrol leader to S03 0900
43	1115	Bde called to find out who from S-4 would attend Bde forward meeting (Capt Tison)
45	1307	Requested UH1D for recon to Bde forward 0830 appx 6 hrs (Col Heard)
47	1345	Night fire report sent to Bde - no firing tonight
49	1424	Tried to call Ann Margaret by land line no answer from the Bridge
50	1445	From Bde the H23 requested for Laterite Pit will be available at 1630 instead of 1600, pilot Mr. Wills
53	1523	Bde 33 called and wanted to know what Co was reaction force (A Co)
53	1540	Bde S-2 called and informed us we would have to put a phone in at the air strip bunker by 1800 today. This line is a direct line to Div Avn. This will be permanent.
56	1705	Chopper for Col Davis & party confirmed for 0800
58	1735	4/23 called and notified us they were going to test fire wpns from center of sector.
66	2119	A 9 reports 2 VC in kill zone XT 669175 taken under fire with Claymore. 2 KIA Sitrep DR6 neg contact
69	2300	Notified A9 to re-search area tomorrow morn.
71	2233	Patrol reports illum rnds illum their position, also reports small light in location of last ambush site
72	2245	Requested to Bde to cease fire Illum Bde said go to Arty LNO.
73	2255	A9 patrol reports light in old ambush site
77	2343	Neg radio contact with A Co patrol. Contacted A10 reaction force, neg action reported from 10 in A9 direction. Suspect A9 RTO asleep. Last contact at 2310
78	2345	Made rado contact with A9 L/C
