DF1: entered FFL (all patrols in).  Standto report:  HHC 15/124; A Co 4/125:  B Co 4/133 1/15 att; C Co 5/139 2/40 att; 65th Eng. 8/196 with all attachments

Dragon R6: reports his location XT177532 has one man with black pajamas and carbine.  Man has ID card.

16 0821 Dragon R6 reports capturing two more men with carbines.  They have no satisfactory ID
19 0905 Dragon R6: We ran into some Special Forces people and they say one of these men we have is one of theirs (one released, others held)
20 0940 Dragon R6: on highway 13 heading back to this location
22 0950 Dragon R6: wanted to know what they should do with the prisoner.  Also closed Base Camp
23 1037 Dragon A6: A Vietnamese man told Alpha that three women were VC, the women were propositioning the troops.  SFC Perez will pick up detainees from A Co and take them to 25th MP Detachment
24 1050 Dragon B6 reported having three popular forces people, all in different uniforms working around the perimeter.  Dragon 3 told Dragon B6 to apprehend the three men.
25 1126 Dragon R6 on their second recon
27 1140 Dragon A56 reported having 5 ARVN troops on road south of BC, 2 of them were officers, they said that it was alright for them to walk around the perimeter.  Bde instructed us to have National Police run these people off, they have no permission to work in our area.  Lt. Muir notified A Co to turn in 5 ARVN troops over to 25th MP's
28 1147 Bde notified us that the Special Forces will round up the ARVN troops that A Co has
29 1205 Dragon 2 will escort 2 of the prisoners down to the regional forces.  These were the 2 that B Co captured.
30 1217 2: The people were from the local popular forces outpost performed a security mission around the airfield that had not been coordinated with us any others detained are to be released, further missions will be coordinated with us.
32 1230 R6: 100 m from village ran into 5 civilians working in the fields 2 advises to check identification and if proper leave them alone.  R6 says they are friendly
34 1236 R6 is in corner of objective area beginning to search houses for radio equipment
35 1335 Bde: To Lt Muir, the liaison officers and Maj Kubas are here to be picked up for the airmobile operation
36 1338 Recon Ptl Ldr will complete search of houses in approx 15 min and have encountered a number of civilian farmers, have been checking identification.  Be advised that they have permission to work there during the day
37 1407 R6:  Am still searching and will be leaving your freq but will switch back periodically, negative results
43 1745 S-3 called to insure that the troops of the 4/23 bunker line were informed about the Patrols from the 2/14 going out tonight.
46 1956 Patrol 1 leaving FFL (rest followed, all in position by 2315, no activity)

2/14 reports 1 VCS captured at XT166545 at 060755 brought in at 061000 hrs turned over to IPW team for interrogation.  Captured by recon plt on recon.

A/2/14 has 5 ARVN troops in area.  3 enlisted turned over to SF camp.  2 off released
