1	0655	From Ann Margaret to S3: 4/23 Inf has just moved through Ann Margaret at 0655 hrs.
6	1110	From Bde XO to S3: New asst Div Commander will visit the Bn Area 16 or 17 Sep 66. Especially bunker line, be sure bunker line is policed.
7	1135	From S3 to All Companies: Notified all companies that company Commanders would be at this location at 1330 hrs for Recon Flight.
8	1210	From S3 to Bde S3: Requested area to fire mortars on 17 Sep from 0800-1600.
9	1235	From S3 to HHC, A,B,C: The air reconnaissance mission for this afternoon has been cancelled.
12	1725	Monitored a foreign language station transmitting on our frequency (35.9) Comm officer was notified, he will monitor further and inform higher headquarters.
15	1952	B Co Patrol 2 departed friendly front lines.
20	2200	B Co Patrol 1 departed friendly front lines.

24	0820	Track from 1/5 (M) hit a tree. One man with possible fractured hand. Returned to 1/5 (M) Disp.
39	1314	2/14 will fire mortars into area bounded grid squares 67/69/164/175 on 0700-1600 hrs 17 Sep.
75	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued company size opn in the FILHOL Plantation with 4/23 Inf and two plats 1/5 Mech vic XT654195. 4/9 Inf departed Cu Chi by convoy 0745 hrs fr Ben Luc 2/14 remained in BC conducting training and maintenance. 4/9 Inf continue & establish BC at Ben Luc, 2/14 Inf continue training & maintenance at BC. 4/23 C Co and attached plts from 1/5 Mech will remain overnight in FILHOL Plantation and continue S&D opn back to BC.
