10	0625	C Co Patrol 1 closed base camp
12	0815	From S3 to S3 Bde: Inquired if its necessary to debrief Listening Posts and submit Patrol Reports on the debriefing. Reply was negative. (Sgt Hollis)
14	1045	From Capt Demmon to S3: Hq 4/23 Inf will assume responsibility of the Air field sector at 190700 Sep 66. Also the 4/23 Inf will assume responsibility of OP Ann Margaret at 191500 Sep 66.
16	1145	From Bde S2 to S3: 1st Bde would like to have 2/14 Inf recommended distribution for anti-intrusion devices for Rifle Co's, Recon Plat, AT Plat, ASAP
17	1200	The following units were notified to attend the presentation of OPORD 14-66 OPN KAMUELA, at 2/14 Inf TOC 181700 Sep 66: HHC, A,B,C, Battery B 7/11 Arty, 16th RRU, A Co 65th Engr MID, VHF Signal Team.
18	1315	From 1st Bde S3 to S3: Maj Griffith informed Col Davis that 181600 Sep 66 Col Sandlin will talk to him about Opn KAMUELA at the 1st Bde TOC
19	1315	From Sgt Stewart to S3: The Pathfinders and a liaison officer will come to the 2/14 Inf at 190910 Sep 66 to discuss Opn KAMUELA. Also will discuss Deceivers HU-1D and CH-47 helicopters.
20	1400	From S3 to S3 4/9th: Lt Rapuano called S3 4/9th Inf and informed him that their listening was located close to 2/14 Inf LP. 4/9 Inf changed the location from the 2/14 Inf LP. Patrol leader was notified.

33	2155	C Co Patrol 2 in position
35	2205	From Capt Voska to S3: Ref Opn KAMUELA, it should be classified SECRET if no change is made. But if the portion which requires a SECRET Classification is extracted no upgrading in necessary. Maj Griffith was notified and he decided to delete that portion of the OPORD.
37	2305	Bunker 20 reports a WP round landed about 30 meters in front of bunker 11 vic coord XT 663164. A check with all units revealed n outgoing rnd fired at that time.

31	1120	4/9 reports a Vietnamese at Laterite Pit wearing black pajamas and carrying possible M-16. Will apprehend if possible and carry to IPW cage
40	1615	Elements of 1/5 (M) received (7) rifle grenades at coord 638218. Area was saturated with M-79 & Cal .50. Neg results. No casualties.
41	1625	Ref Item 31, Vietnamese is Asst Village Chief. Has Colt AR-16 Model o2. Man has not been detained and has identification confirming his identity. Weapon is his.
60	2200	2/14 C Co Patrol 2 departed B/C 2130 in position 2155
64	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued Opn LANIKAI with 4/9 Inf establishing Operational base. 2/14 Inf preparing for Opn KAMUELA and 4/23 Inf continued Air Mobile movement on Opn KALIHI in the FILHOL Plantation. 4/9 Inf will continue preparing base camp vic Ben Luc. 2/14 Inf continues preparation for Opn KAMUELA, and 4/23 Inf conducts S&D Opn in FILHOL Plantation on Opn KALIHI.
