5	0350	C/4/23 patrols have closed base camp because of lack of communication.
6	0455	A/2/14 patrol (rear) closed B/C, neg contact.
8	0500	C/2/14 patrol (fwd) closed B/C
14	0650	A/2/14 patrol closed B/C
18	0900	Boats departed Dau Tieng for rice cache.
24	0930	Div TOC reported 6 VC companies in area. Cav troop checking out information.
26	0946	Boat convoy rec'd SA fire from XT 498446. Arty being fired on position.
30	1030	A/2/1 rec'd SA fire from XT 484434, Arty fired on target.
41	1112	Delayed Entry: Airstrike on obj G at 0800 followed by Arty at 0820. AT 0830 1 company 3/8 ARVN airlifted to obj G. Obj H & I secured at 0839. 1st Boat convoy departed rice cache at 0905, closing Dau Tieng 1015. 2d convoy departed rice cache at 1130.
46	1145	C/2/1 has completed 55% of destruction of rice cache.
50	1305	2 3/50 ARVN apprehended 5 VCS at XS617744. 3 3/50 apprehended 7 VCS at XS607229. Evacuated to District at Ben Luc.
54	1600	B/2/14 destroyed 3 tunnels 20 ft long, 2 ft wide, 30 in high XT 499416 at 1550.
59	1755	C/4/23 XT618193 picked up 1 VCS, hidden under water. 4 sampans 617189-612198 , 1 covered with branches. Arty received permission to fire.
60	1800	C/4/23 Dustoff, 2 WIA leg wounds from booby-traps at 632180.
68	1930	4/23 plat received 2 rds SA fire from the south at Laterite Pit, did not return fire.
70	2030	4/9 tower reports sighting green star cluster east of Ann Margaret. A/4/23 patrol was cause of incident. Radios from patrol went out, being replaced & sent out again.
74	2255	4/23 bunker 9 spotted light to front 657173, firing mortars 4.2
76	2320	C/2/14 patrol, no commo, not going out.
78	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde (-) continued opn KAMUELA with minor contact, 2/14 Inf continued opn KAMUELA with minor contact; 4/9 Inf continued opn LANIKAI with negative contact; 4/23 continued opn KALIHI with negative contact.
