17	0850	3/4 Cav 700 meters to right of Ann Margaret, 2 tracks stuck in mud.
26	1050	ARVN unit attached to B/4/23 receiving light sniper fire at coord XT700180. 3/4 Cav elem has (2) tracks down. B/4/23 moving through 3/4 element to ARVN unit.
29	1126	2/14 departure time: 1st lift 0830, 2nd lift 0905, 4th lift 1045, 5th lift 1125, 6th lift 1325, 7th lift 1415.
30	1130	3/4 Cav track has thrown track. Only one stuck.
31	1145	B/4/23 linked up with ARVN (attached) element. Neg activity. XT700181.
36	1320	Lt Friend 2/14 given warning order to assume responsibility of airfield bunkers Ann Margaret Bridge and Ann Margaret eff 041200 Oct 66.
38	1340	4/9 convoy lining up for return to Cu Chi received 3 rds S/A fire from village or rice paddy XS640750. Neg casualties. No fire returned.
40	1445	B/4/23 found tunnel 150 meters long with a room 6 ft x 6 ft at each end. XT 695182. Tunnel and rooms will be destroyed.
47	1640	2/14 notified to place ambush in position, 1 in area #1 and 1 in area #3 during each 24 hr day.
49	1730	B/4/23 destroyed (1) 250 lb bomb 696173.
62	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued operations LANIKAI & KALIHI. 4/9 Inf (LANIKAI) prepared for joint US/ARVN operation. 4/23 Inf (KALIHI) conducted one company US/ARVN S&D opn in AO. 2/14 terminated Opn KAMUELA and returned to Cu Chi base camp. 4/9 Inf will conduct joint US/ARVN Opn in AO. 4/23 Inf will conduct S&D in FILHOL Plantation. 2/14 Inf will continue preparations for future operations.
