38	1500	At 1430 hrs 4/9 convoy rec'd 5 rds SA fire vix 660105. 3/4 Cav checking area. Convoy closed 1450.
65	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued Opns KALIHI (2/14 and 4/23 Inf) in FILHOL Plantation and LANIKAI (4/9 Inf) at Ben Luc. 2/14 Inf and 4/23 Inf had (1) plat size ambush patrol in the FILHOL Plantation overnight, 4/9 had no operations. PLANS SUMMARY: 2/14 Inf will conduct a (2) company size S&D operation in the FILHOL Plantation. 4/9 Inf will conduct a CHECKMATE operation vic XS580765 utilizing (1) Co in conjunction with 3/50 ARVN Bn.
