27	1045	C/2/14 loc 641198 at 1025 hrs, neg contact. 3 tracks stuck.
31	1155	Dustoff requested for one heat casualty from C/2/14 LZ 647214. Will mark LZ on request.
34	1207	Dustoff cancelled by 2/14, will be picked up by C&C ship.
37	1230	2/14 request for 3/4 Cav platoon, 2 flame tracks and Demo team for 28 Oct has been approved.
65	2155	4/23 bunker #1 rec'd 1 round SA fire from vic coord XT651170. Continuing to observe.
68	2242	4/23 reports radar sighting of 6-7 figures XT645174. 4/23 has ambush patrol at 655177, figures drifting eastward, continuing to track.
74	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued Opn LANIKAI (4/9 Inf) & KALIHI (2/14 & 4/23 Inf). 4/9 conducted an airmobile assault BUDDY Opn vix XS600807. 2/14 Inf conducted an S&D Opn vic XT632197 to XT645203. 4/23 Inf initiated a Bushmaster Opn vic XT725152. Bn (-) Co B moved to Cu Chi Base Camp. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf Bn will conduct an airmobile BUDDY Opn LZ1 XS564789, LZ2 XS649784 and move to obj vic XS643785. 2/14 Inf Bn will continue Opn KALIHI with S&D Opn from vic XT645204 to XT665200. 4/23 Inf Bn continue Bushmaster Opn with B Co moving during darkness to vic XT757155. Ambush out XT738151.
