5	0350	B/4/9 ambush patrol sprung, 1 claymore against 3 VC XT678141. Found 1 bottle of pills. Will move ambush position to south of road at XT688145.
20	1102	2/14 will fire SA from Ann Margaret to northeast along road axis at 1115.
22	1300	2/14 SA fire completed at 1240 hrs.
24	1332	C/2/14 crossed LD 1330 hrs.
27	1443	C/2/14 called dustoff for 1-2 heat casualties vic 685166.
33	1640	Delayed Entry: At 1517 hrs dustoff ship reported 7 VC vic 690160. 2/14 called Arty, results unk.
46	2045	4/9 (-) alerted for possible movement within 30 minutes.
55	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued Opns LANIKAI & KALIHI. 4/23 (-) replaced 4/9 (-) at Ben Luc. Change of unit effected at 051530, W/4/9 returning to Cu Chi. 2/14 continued KALIHI with C/2/14 conducting S&D and night ambushes vic XT688167. An US/ARVN Opn center remains established vic Tan An XS5565. No CAS missions were flown in support of 1st Bde.
