		Initial log entries contain hourly sit/rep, no change.
29	1320	2/14 will fire 106 recoilless rifle and .50 Cal. MG into FILHOL Plantation at 1400.
30	1505	2/14 reports that at 1445 hrs while firing on bunker (Ref Item 29) fired LAW which was a dud. Round is marked and EOC team has been called.
68	2400	SUMMARY: The first Brigade continued operations FAIRFAX & LANIKAI and conducted security operations in its forward and rear base areas. 4/9 Inf continued opn FAIRFAX with S&D BUDDY and security operations. One platoon Co B conducted S&D BUDDY opn vic coord XS738802. Co A provided security for emplacement of a brigade vic coord XS761785. No contact was made. 2/14 Inf conducted security and ambush opn in the FILHOL Plantation and the Cu Chi base and prepared for introduction into LANIKAI with a MEDCAP vic XS6375. Co B returned to Cu Chi base by convoy closing at 1535 hrs. ASCC's remain established at Tan An, Ben Luc and Binh Chanh. PLANS SUMMARY: 1. 4/9 Inf continue FAIRFAX with airmobile S&D BUDDY opn with Co B, 1 platoon Co A and the 32nd Co, 3rd ARVN Airborne Bn vic XS7680 and XS7780. 2. 2/14 Inf Bn will move one Co from Cu Chi to Ben Luc to commence LANIKAI. The Bn (-) will continue to prepare for movement to Ben Luc. 3. 4/23 Inf (-) Bn will move from Ben Luc to Cu Chi and will become OPCON 2nd Bde 101200 hrs Dec 66.
