2	0515	Listening Post 1 called for illumination to identify sounds in water.  Granted.
		Initial log entries contain hourly sit/rep, no change.
24	1025	From Bde S3 to S3 2/14:  Curfew hours in Rach Kien area during TET are 2000 hrs to 0500 hrs for Vietnamese civilians.
49	1905	B Co requests dustoff for a man with a 104 degree temperature.  Completed at 1940 hrs.

		On this day the 2/14th Inf Bn was the only battalion attached to 1st Brigade.  Since most of the 2/14 S-3 log entries above were also reported to Brigade HQ, they were duplicated in the 1st Bde S2/S3 log, but they will not be repeated here.  I've included only entries that contain unique or unusual information
37	2400	SUMMARY:  1st Bde continues opn LANIKAI with 2/14 Inf (-). Co B continuing opns from a separate Company base vic XS725725 and Co C providing base security at Rach Kien. PLANS SUMMARY:  2/14 Inf (-) will conduct security opn in observance of TET.

4	1010	Rec Cas Rept Battle WIA  B 2/14 MURPHY, Joseph F. Jr.  PFC 051330 Feb 67  XS726725.  Injured right knee.  EM on support fire mission, recoil of 81mm caused the base plate to hit knee.
