14	0840	From Capt Fleming to 33: Granted permission for 2/14 Inf B Co to fire on the 4/9 Inf range at 0900.
16	0950	From Bde to 33: Capt Mingo from 25th Div will be at 2/14 location tomorrow to set up some tentage. This will be set up at B/7/11 site where they have their tubes (105mm howitzers)
17	1000	From S1 to S3: Informed S3 that band will be at 2/14 Inf location at 0800 hrs.
21	1240	From S3 to 33: Inform the Comm Sgt that the Bn CO wishes for him to have 2 PA systems for tomorrows practice ceremony.
28	1530	From S3 to HHC: Notify the newly arrived personnel that the next Replacement Training Cycle will begin at 190800 Feb 67. If unable to get field gear for the 1st day, personnel may attend w/o
31	1705	From A Co to 33: Patrol 2 reports finding a 105mm dud XT684171, unable to detonate safely, will leave in place.
36	1845	From S3 to Co C: Have SSG Shaffer, Richard W report to the 2/14 Inf TOC at 190730 Feb 67 to attend Div Replacement Training.

		On this day the 2/14th Inf Bn was the only battalion attached to 1st Brigade. Since most of the 2/14 S-3 log entries above were also reported to Brigade HQ, they were duplicated in the 1st Bde S2/S3 log, but they will not be repeated here. I've included only entries that contain unique or unusual information
10	0900	4/9 first lift landed at Cu Chi base camp.
12	1001	4/9 second lift landed at Cu Chi base camp.
17	1350	4/9 closed Cu Chi base camp.
26	1910	4/9 convoy from Tan An to Cu Chi closed at 1855 hrs.
34	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued security opn vic Cu Chi base camp. A/2/14 conducted a company size search and clear opn vic XT6816. 4/9 inf returned to 1st Bde control 171340 Feb 67. PLANS SUMMARY: 2/14 Inf will continue local security opns and prepare for movement to Dau Tieng on 19 Feb 67. 4/9 Inf will conduct security opns vic Cu Chi base camp.
