4	1000	From S3 to Co's: Radio check with companies, loud and clear.
5	1035	From 33: Bn CP located XT49304720. A Co CP XT498047. B Co CP XT494547. C Co CP XT494546.
6	1145	A Co in position
7	1425	From Air Force to 33: At coord XT454622 there is a rice cache.
8	1726	From S4 to 33: Convoy from Cu Chi closed Dau Tieng bae camp at 1726. 50 vehicles and a total of 165 personnel.
9	1740	From C Co: Officers 5, 1 attached. EM 111; rear 2 officers, EM 46
10	1735	From Recon platoon to 33: All elements have closed Dau Tieng
11	1743	Patrol 1 left FFL at 1743.
12	1745	From S3 to A Co: Informed A Co that Recon will not man the bridge but a platoon from A Co will. Also A Co informed S3 that they have 20 bunkers, 6 will be manned by HHC, 14 will be manned by A Co, there are no breaks in the wire. A Co reserves will be his weapons and HHC (22 people); strength 128/4, Recon 19/1 at base camp 31/2
15	1845	B Co reports some tear gas being released in his area with very mild effects, does not know where the gas was released from.

4	0222	4/23 requested to fire illum vic XT649174. Three bunkers detected movement to front of bunker line.
10	0739	A/4/9 departed Cu Chi base camp for fwd Co base vic XT700189.
11	0915	2/14 air lift from Cu Chi to Dau Tieng started 0800 hrs. Last load at 0915 hrs.
15	1400	A/4/9 found a tunnel complex at vic XT700194, also 50-60 women and children at X Ben Nay. 15 women and children in need of medical aid, and Co med is giving assistance. The tunnel was empty and is being destroyed.
20	2101	C/4/9 reports Laterite pit bunker one rec'd 1 hand grenade at XT673146. No casualties.
24	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued security opns vic Cu Chi base camp. 4/9 continued security opns while A/4/9 moved to a Co fwd base vic XT698192. 2/14 Inf departed Cu Chi base camp for Dau Tieng 190915 Feb 67, under OPCON of 3rd Bde, 4th Div. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will continue security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and maintain a fwd company base.
