ITEM`	TIME	INCIDENTS, MESSAGES, ORDERS, ETC.
		Initial log entries contain hourly sit/rep, no change.
10	0750	A/3/4 Cav tank hit AT mine vic XT593096. Blew off 10 track blocks and 4 support arms. No casualties. Also blew crater in road 6 1/2 feet wide.
14	0930	3/4 Cav has requirement to return to vic XT5916 to pick up bodies of dead rodents that they killed yesterday.
19	1049	3/4 Cav gunship observed 7 uniformed persons with weapons vic XT578175. Persons acted suspicious and disappeared into brush. Aircraft did not receive fire.
20	1130	2/27 tower observed 1 individual in black pajamas vic XT616177. No weapon observed. Individual disappeared.
21	1150	2/27 observed 2 individuals vic XT615176, disappeared into woods, no weapons observed.
22	1248	2/27 observed 3 individuals vic XT619179. Requested Arty, approved.
29	1740	4/23 has not reached their position. At loc vic XT667175 and XT667177 found 3 105mm duds, blew in place, also located vic XT646198, 1 command-detonated napalm bomb.
36	2010	Delayed Entry: A/4/23 found 7 foxholes vic XT518211. 4 bunkers were 3 ft x 3 ft and 3 bunkers were 10 ft x 3 ft x 5 feet deep. All had overhead cover and in an L shape for ambush along a trail. Foxholes were destroyed.
37	2110	B/4/23 ambush patrol loc XT536204 made contact. 3 US WIA (slightly).
38	2150	4/9 tower called Arty on a possible VC loc XT675159. Results unk.
39	2157	3/4 Cav observed SA firing in front of their bunker line. Firing was observed from XT6615. Keeping under observation.
41	2250	Ref Item 37: B/4/23 patrol was enroute to ambush location. They observed lights and 4 personnel to their left flank vic XT532213. They engaged them with SA fire, observed 2 personnel go down, others ran. Approx 4-5 min later rec'd 2 60mm mortar rounds and 10-12 rounds of rifle grenades. Results 2 VC KIA (Poss), 3 US WIA slightly. No dustoff required. Reaction force was committed, patrols returned to base camp. Arty was called as soon as AP patrol cleared the area.
46	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and remained control HQs for Cu Chi base defense. 4/9 Inf continued security opn vic Cu Chi base camp and conducted a company sweep vic XT6217. 4/23 Inf continued Bn S&D opn vic XT5221. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf continues security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and conducts a S&D opn vic XT637192. 4/23 Inf (-) continues S&D opn vic XT5221.
