48	2035	B Co patrol 4 fired at person digging in Laterite pit, observed with starlite scope approx 350 meters. Suspect taken under fire, neg results.
50	2133	C Co reports picking up 2 men and 2 women at the bridge XT483469, were turned over to National Police, believed to be prostitutes.

5	0215	Info from 2/32 Arty: A unit from Trung Lap Rangers received 2 mortar rounds of unknown caliber resulting in 2 KIA, 2 WIA. Under investigation by Arty.
11	0620	LRRP 3/4 Cav saw two people run into woods vic XT664126. Threw hand grenade at them, neg results.
14	0820	B/4/9 rec'd SA sniper fire from vic XT614175. Returned fire with SA, no casualties.
16	0850	B/4/9 had one heat casualty vic XT627176. Will evac.
20	1033	B/4/9 located one 155mm dud vic XT613187, destroyed in place.
22	1115	B/4/9 located assorted cooking equipment vic XT607178.
23	1137	2/27 observed 1 individual, will chech.
24	1145	4/9 C&C ship observed 15 suspected personnel vic XT622161, requested gunships.
29	1432	Sub Sector Advisor Phu Hoa Duong reports receiving fire vic XT713197. VC Broke contact. 1 ARVN WIA.
34	1620	B/4/9 picked up 2 female detainees vic XT618158.
35	1625	4/9 C&C ship picked up 1 detainee at XT6r07160 and 2 detainees loc vic XT610142.
36	1630	B/4/23 destroyed 3 old bunkers vic XT620158.
38	1650	B/4/9 called for dustoff for heat casualty, 1 litter case. Dustoff cancelled.
51	2220	65th Engr saw two suspect personnel from bunker line XT662150. Engaged with SA fire, neg results. VC got within 50 meters of bunker line, were tampering with claymore.
53	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and remained Control HQs for Cu Chi base defense. 4/9 Inf continued security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and conducted a company size airmobile opn vic XT6116. 4/23 Inf continued Bn (-) S&D opn in the FILHOL Plantation. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will conduct a company size S&D mission vic XT5714. 4/23 Inf will conduct a Bn size S&D mission vic XT5818.
