18	1025	A Co requested permission to fire from the Laterite pit:  Granted.
24	1203	C Co S3 gave permission to C Co to destroy 6 81mm rounds in the Laterite pit.
43	1930	C Co turned in prostitute to Bn S-5, she apparently sneaked inside Bn perimeter.
50	2045	C Co patrol 5 received SA fire in their general direction, did not return fire.  No casualties.
52	2110	B Co reports flashlight moving around in sanitary field.

18	0930	2/27 observed 2 individuals vic XT600186, requested permission to engage with 50 Cal and Arty.  Approved.
29	1349	C/4/23 track hit mine vic XT575171, several minor casualties, treated.  Extensive damage to track, it will be towed to fwd base camp vic Trung Lap.
30	1420	A/4/23 at PL APPLE vic XT583177, track hit an AP mine, no casualties, no damage to track.
33	1450	At 1400 hrs Recon 4/9 picked up 4 male detainees vic XT585145, turned over to IPW.  At 1415 hrs C/4/9 picked up 3 detainees at XT583148.  At 1426 hrs Recon 4/9 found 1 105mm dud vic XT585145.
36	1600	3/4 Cav helicopter on ROAD RUNNER opn reports 100 VC in vic XT378376.  Calling in Arty and gunships.
37	1610	Delayed Entry 1355 hrs:  A/4/23 track hit AP mine vic XT603180, no casualties or damage.
38	1615	A/4/23 track hit an AP mine vic XT598180, no casualties or damage to track.
41	1735	OH-23 rec'd one round sniper fire from XT720145.
44	1905	A/3/4 Cav found one AP mine vic XT228772, blew in place.
46	1920	B/4/23 requested dustoff for 1 US patient. XT582179.
49	2025	65th Engineers have APC broke down in Cu Chi.  3/4 Cav will go with Engrs to pick up APC.
53	2125	4/23 observed 3 explosions 200 meters to front on azimuth of 3200m.  Believed to be 60mm.  Reports of mortars heard on AZ of 3200m, time of flight of rounds was 7 seconds.
55	2131	4/23 patrol C2 spotted 1 VC in trench or bunker at XT574196.  4/23 are firing 81mm mortar on position.
59	2400	SUMMARY:  1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and remained control HQs for Cu Chi base defense.  4/9 Inf continued security vic Cu Chi base camp and conducted a company size S&D mission vic XT580148.  4/23 Inf continued Bn size S&D opn vic XT585178. PLANS SUMMARY:  4/9 Inf will conduct airmobile opn vic XT667092.  4/23 Inf will continue S&D opn vic XT527233.
