4	0210	Patrol 4 reports lights coming from direction of FFL bunker line.
30	1800	Col. Conaty entered Battalion area for social gathering (???)
34	2058	Outpost Ann Margaret spotted 3 people with helmets approx 250 meters to their front vic coord XT668171. Ann Margaret was instructed to allow the 3 to advance to approx 100 meters and open up with SA. VC didn't advance. At 2135 Arty and SA fire were fired. Neg results.

16	1230	1st Bde Aviation spotted one VC with weapon vic XT593185 and 6 VC vic XT596189. Arty called, results unk.
18	1430	C/4/9 detained one individ vic XT718967, taken to Tan Binh District Chief for interrogation.
24	1935	Phu Hoa Duong reports 2 VC squads fired on patrol vic XT724191.
28	2135	2/14 at Ann Margaret spotted 3 persons vic XT668171. Taken under fire with SA, neg results.
29	2150	Ref Item 28: 2/14 will reinforce Ann Margaret with 2 rifle platoons.
35	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and initiated opn MAKALAPA. 4/9 Inf continued preparation for movement to Gia Dinh Province vic XS7397. C/4/9 moved to this location closing fwd base at 181028 Mar 67. 4/23 continued security opn vic Cu Chi B/C. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf CP will move to vic XS727966. A/4/9 moves to vic XS717927. B/4/9 continues preparation for movement vic XS725993. C/4/9 continues ambush patrolling and base development vic XS727966. 4/23 Inf will conduct tactical movement to vic XT4619. 2/14 Inf continues security opn vic Cu Chi.
