Summary:
   A LST (Centaur) was used during the morning to check locations of activities that occurred during the night.  Twice they spotted individuals taking evasive action, engaged with AW/HG, two body count.  Also reported fresh trails, tunnels at grid 6023 and 6025.
   2/49 ARVN's swept the area where contact was made during the night and found blood trails.  Negative findings after sweep.
   Co B had 3 individuals wounded at FSB Patton caused by an explosion of a Chicom grenade that was being carried to EOD pit.
   BG Henderson visited FSB Patton during the morning hours. 
   During today's operations, Co C had 2 WIA's caused by booby-trapped 60mm round, 1 WIA by booby-trapped hand grenade, and located one handmade booby-trap with smoke grenade detonator and one US anti-tank mine with a B-40 round near it.
   Co D had 2 WIA's caused by 60mm rounds with trip wires, located one 81mm round booby-trapped with trip wire, a 155mm round booby-trapped with tilt rod, an RPG round found in a hole, 1 hand grenade booby-trap and one hand grenade with trip wire.  Also spotted one individual on top of a tree, one body count.
   4 sorties were used for Co C at the location of the booby-trap area (Flame Bath).
   At 1100 the night defensive position received what was believed at that time to be 4-5 rounds 82mm, later confirmed as 60mm, falling about 50 meters outside the wire.  A sortie of napalm was used.
   Battalion S-5 conducted a PsyOps mission to exploit the area where blood was found.
   At 2203 radar at PB Hunsley reported 4 separate readings, Arty was fired on those targets.  Also radar at Patton reported sightings which were taken under fire.
