Ballgame:
   A Co
3 platoons move to consolidation point PZ 357134, move to FSB Jackson.  1 platoon conduct local recon at 1500 hrs, 1 platoon conduct 2 section-size AP's vic (ambush patrols in the vicinity of...) FSB Jackson.  2 platoons provide FSB security.  Weapons platoon provide security and general support at FSB Hampton.
   B Co 3 platoons rest and resupply by aerial resupply and backhaul.  Prepare for Bushmaster operations.  Conduct section-size AP in area XT 370120, XT 380080, XT 380100, XT 370107.  Weapons platoon 1 tube at FSB Jackson, platoon minus at FSB Hampton.
   C Co 3 platoons prepare for Bushmaster operations in area XT 370187, XT 338117 along 2000 meters from Cambodian border to XT 338152, along Hwy 6A to XT 370149, PZ FSB Jackson 1510 hrs.  C A LZ vic 357134.  Conduct platoon-size AP's in Bushmaster area.  Secure and employ PPS-4 radar on AP's.  Weapons platoon provide security and general support at FSB Hampton.  Prepare to react to radar or reinforce AP's in contact.
   D Co 2 platoons rest from previous night's AP's, 1 platoon depart at BMNT, move to and establish a border outpost until 1730.  Company (-) at NDP (night defensive position) Phuoc Luu XT 342185, provide 1 squad security per radar site XT 347217, XT 341188, establish 2 section-size AP's.  Weapons platoon support Binh Thanh as directed.
   E Co Recon platoon PZ Jackson 1615 hrs.  LZ in 4113, AP's to be announced.

    Summary:
At 0738 the Recon platoon and one platoon from C Co departed Jackson to be picked up by Navy boats to be taken to Navy contact area to conduct a sweep of the area.  D Co again swept contact area and found one NVA ammo vest, three loaded AK magazines, one Chicom grenade and cleaning equipment for an AK.  At 0830 AO Shoe is approved.  The Recon platoon picked up a wounded female at 1055 hrs.  She was found at grid 400193 with multiple frag wounds in the leg.  At 1100 RF's have a badly wounded VC credited to D Co and will bring to Phouc Luu.  Recon airborne finished at 1447.  A Co first lift at 1420 hrs and finished at Jackson at 1500 hrs.  C Co airlift started at 1420 hrs and finished at 1505 hrs.  C&C airmobile released at 1616.  At 2040 hrs D Co AP engaged 3-4 individuals 300 meters east.  At 2105 hrs D Co finished sweep of area and there was negative findings.  AO Thinh for 25th ARVN approved at 2150 hrs.
