VC/NVA Propaganda Leaflets

 

The Viet Cong and North Vietnam Army regularly placed propaganda leaflets where we could find them, in an attempt to influence us to put down our arms and go home.  Here are some samples:

 

The following leaflet was found by a 2/14th infantryman while on a sweep in the spring of 1968.  There were no 1st Air Cavalry units in the vicinity.   The reverse side contained a similar message written in Vietnamese.

The following leaflet was also found in the spring of 1968.  Both sides have been reproduced.  The printers knew that both G.I.s and local villagers would find and read the leaflets, and wanted to influence the largest possible audience.
